Vivo showed its X Fold foldable smartphone
The presentation of the folding smartphone announced by Vivo will take place on April 11 in China. On the company's website, focused at the domestic market, the gadget page has been already opened, where you can study the technical characteristics of the X Fold and view photos of the new product. The device with a flexible display will be similar to foldable smartphones that are at the market.
The photo shows that the design of the smartphone is really foldable. The main inner screen is flexible, can be double folded and hidden inside the case of the Vivo X Fold to protect it from damage during use. Thanks to the hinge based on aerospace technology, which is equipped with the novelty, the case halves fold without forming a gap.
An additional display that will receive a selfie camera is located on the front side. The camera module on the back contains 4 lenses and an LED flash.
On the right side there is a button made in the form of a slider, on the left side there is a rocker with which the volume is adjusted, and a power button.
According to the information confirmed by the manufacturer, the new smartphone has a flexible AMOLED E5 screen, which has a resolution of 2K +, with a refresh rate of about 120 Hz.
The device will receive a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor containing 8 computing cores, the clock frequency of which reaches 3.0 GHz.
The images of the smartphone show a quad main camera, which has been developed jointly with Zeiss, combining a 50 MP main sensor, a 48 MP wide-angle lens unit, a 12 MP module with 2x optical zoom, and an 8 MP periscope module.
The smartphone is equipped with a 4600 mAh battery, and also supports wired (120 W) and wireless (50 W) charging.
