The "Locked Folder" function in Google Photos is now available for other Android smartphones

Google has started rolling out another exclusive feature for Pixel smartphones to other Android devices. And that feature is "Locked Folder" in Google Photos. The company promised to extend this feature to other devices back in September 2021, but starting from December, by updating the application, users of other Android smartphones will be able to feel the privileges of this function.
Briefly about the features of "Locked Folder", this function will allow the user to create a separate folder to store all your personal photos, videos and other saved materials, which will need to be closed from prying eyes. The user will be able to easily create any kind of protection: password, biometrics and so on. To go to the "Locked Folder" section, just open the Google Photos app, then go to "Library" and open the "Utilities" section.

Currently, the feature is available for all smartphones based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and above. As for iOS-based smartphones, this update will have to wait until early 2022 at the earliest.
