Mi Mix Fold - the first bendable smartphone from Xiaomi

The presentation of a new bendable device called Mi Mix Fold was supposed to take place on March 29, but due to the ill health of the head of Xiaomi had to postpone it to today. Mi Mix Fold is the company's first bendable smartphone, the appearance of which is made in a book format.

The smartphone has a bendable AMOLED display, which is able to fold inward, this feature will protect the screen from external damage. The diagonal of the display is 8.01 inches, a resolution of 2480×1860 pixels with a density of 387 PPI dots per inch. The screen supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and brightness reaches 600 cd/m2. When unfolded, the smartphone turns into a full-fledged tablet.

The back cover is divided into two parts: the side with an additional screen and the side with the main camera unit. When folded, the device turns into a full-fledged smartphone. The diagonal of the additional screen is 6.52 inches, the resolution is 2520×840 pixels, the screen refresh rate is 90 Hz, and the brightness is 700 cd/m2.

As for the characteristics of the device, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip with 8 cores to 2.84 GHz, video gas pedal Adreno 660, as well as a Snapdragon X60 5G modem.

The main camera consists of 3 lenses: a 108MP main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, an 8MP macro sensor with a 3x optical zoom and a 30x digital zoom.

The Mi Mix Fold also got 4 Harman Kardon stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, a 5020mAh battery, and support for fast charging up to 67W.

Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold for 12/256GB was priced at €1300, the 12/512GB version - €1430 and the top configuration with 16/512GB of storage - €1700.
