New smartphones Nubia Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro are ready to conquer the heights of mobile gaming industry

Nubia has announced its new gaming series of smartphones called Nubia Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro. And these are the first smartphones in the world to get screens with 165 Hz refresh rate. The appearance of the novelties turned out to be really gaming, although Nubia Red Magic 6 Pro got a more aggressive design. As for the specifications, both smartphones are almost identical, and all the differences between them will not affect their gaming performance and quality video shooting, and photos.

Both devices run Android 11 with the proprietary Red Magic OS 4 shell, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 single-core system is responsible for performance. The smartphones have LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 ROM. The RedMagic 6 got 8/12GB to choose from and 128/256GB of permanent storage. The Red Magic 6 Pro got 12/16GB of RAM and the ROM capacity is similar to the younger version. In addition to the usual variation, the Pro-version received and additional called "Special Edition" with a transparent back and 2 variations to choose from 16/18 GB RAM and 256/512 GB ROM. And to keep the smartphones not too warm they were equipped with powerful cooling fans with a speed of 18,000 rpm for the Red Magic 6 and 20,000 rpm for the Red Magic 6 Pro.

The back cover of the Red Magic 6 is made of carbon fiber and has asymmetrical lighting to match the gaming theme. Also on the cover is the logo of Red Magic and Tencent, which lights up first.

Red Magic 6 received 2 gradient colors in the design: Carbon Fiber Black and Cyber Neon. The rear panel of the Red Magic 6 Pro is made of a combination of aircraft aluminum alloy and glass. The smartphone also received two colors in the design: Iron Black and Ice Blade Silver. The Red Magic 6 Pro Special Edition received a transparent back cover with illuminated fan.

The smartphones also received the same AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.5 inches and a resolution of Full HD+. On the back of the devices are located a beautiful vertical three main cameras: 64 megapixel, 8 megapixel and 2 megapixel. There is also support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, BeiDou, stereo speakers, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. As for battery capacity and charger power, the smartphones differ from each other in this respect. The battery capacity of Nubia Red Magic 6 5050 mAh; Red Magic 6 Pro got a battery capacity of 4500 mAh and support for 120W fast charging.

Pre-order Nubia Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro is available from March 4, the smartphones will officially go on sale March 11 in China.
