The announcement of the new flagship Vivo NEX 3S 5G

Vivo has introduced an updated version of its Vivo NEX 3 smartphone under the brand new name Vivo NEX 3S 5G. The smartphone did not seem to have much transformation, but with regard to the hardware it is worth noting the presence of a new memory format LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1, Wi-Fi 6 and the new Android 10 platform. The case is made of glass panels, and the display has curved sides and occupies 99.6% of the total front side. The front camera is retractable, and on the back cover there is a circle under the main camera; there are also no physical buttons; their role is played by sensors that are located on the sides. The Super AMOLED matrix has a diagonal of 6.89 inches, a resolution of 2256×1080 pixels and supports HDR10+. The front camera is 16 megapixels, the main module consists of three lenses: the main 64 megapixel f/1.8, wide-angle 13 megapixels and telephoto 2 megapixels with 2x optical zoom. It is noteworthy that a 3.5 mm audio jack is present, there is even an NFC module, but optical stabilization has not been delivered. For performance, the Snapdragon 865 processor with the Adreno 650 graphics accelerator is responsible, the RAMs gave 8/12 GB, and its own - 256 GB. There is also a 5G X55 module.

4500 mAh battery with support for fast charging at 44 watts. The device is running Android 10 with a proprietary shell FuntouchOS 10. The start of sales is scheduled for March 14 in China, asking for a version for 8/256 GB - $719, and a version for 12/256 GB will cost $763.
