Huawei will launch its own OS very soon

Even when the scandal with the US government just broke out, leaving no hope of maintaining friendly relations with US companies, Huawei began developing its own operating system. Without losing time, the company filed an application to register its own operating system called Hongmeng. Huawei secured its own name, and now ready to exploit it to the fullest. The Hongmeng brand itself, as it became known, was registered on August 24, 2018, which means that even then Huawei thought about its own system. Hongmeng OS release according to reliable information is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2019, but the platform is being launched only for the Chinese domestic market. For other countries, the new OS will be released by mid-2020. In the meantime, the company is busy with in-depth testing of the new system, and it also became known that Huawei intends to release its own services (cloud storage, application store). Whether the company is able to rise again, but only from its own operating system, time will tell.
