Operating system macOS was threatened security
We all know how flattering Apple is about the Android operating system, including the weak Android security. It became known that a serious vulnerability was discovered in one of the Apple services. It is about the ability to get passwords from accounts on Mac devices and this is possible without administrator rights and superuser. Linus Henze, a security professional, discovered this vulnerability, but did not dare comment on the details of Apple. The specialist is dissatisfied with the fact that the company is engaged in rewarding the search for vulnerabilities only on IOS, and in fact it was on macOS that a serious security gap was discovered. And now for the details, all users on macOS Mojave have access to Keychain Access, where all personal information is stored, but to view the contents, you need to enter a password. Linus Henze found a way to get around this stage, a specialist created a program capable of pulling out all the information from Keychain Access without entering a password. The program does not even need administrator and superuser rights. It is important to note that the program only affects the KeyChain service, iCloud KeyChain remains out of reach for it. At the moment, Apple does not comment on what happened.
