3D holograms will appear in the near future

Several scientists from the Royal University of Ontario have shown a project to create videoconferences using TeleHuman 2 holograms. The basis of the project is to show a person in full growth and in real time, wherever he is. The developers themselves argue that for their development, neither virtual nor additional reality is needed. The equipment has a set of cameras that fix the brightness of individual light streams, their direction. Thus, a "depth effect" is created, which is reproduced using different pro-rectors on the screen-cylinder. The picture is not "flat", but "volumetric" and it can be seen from all angles. At this stage, the detailing of the picture and the viewing angle are not at a high level, but this does not prevent TeleHuman 2 from working with the initial configuration.

The hologram fully conveys the movements of the body, communication, non-verbal cues and other, all this makes the technology truly worthwhile and necessary, because it can create the effect of human presence where it does not exist, where its presence really is needed. The technology itself can be used in completely different industries: at the robot, at home, in public places and at major events (artist's concert, birthday). TeleHuman 2 is being developed since 2012 and it will take several more years to finalize it. The world does not stand still - this is our future, which is developing, making our life easier.
